My name is Pablo Navarro and after 15 years as a founder, investor, and executive in the startup ecosystem I noticed time and again that to succeed as a leader, you need to constantly develop.
Nonetheless, the demands of running a high-growth business often leave little time for self-reflection, mentorship, or coaching. You end up learning by doing which is effective but
takes a lot of time and energy (not to mention the impact on your team as you are learning to lead via trial and error). The right executive coach can help shorten your learning leadership curve and achieve your potential.
When I was launching Marathon I looked for an executive coach. I met several coaches in LatAm but none of them understood startups.

When I was launching Marathon I looked for an executive coach. I met several coaches in LatAm but none of them understood startups.
The coaches I met that had the right context were based in the US and charged rates that were not feasible for me as a founder in LatAm. After several months, I convinced a former colleague at Amazon to coach me at a 70% discount as a favor. Working with her was a transformational experience for me and I want other professionals to have that same experience.
In January of 2023, we launched Cocora with a vision to create a world where every person achieves their potential. We build towards that vision by connecting leaders with the coaches who will help them transform. Our name comes from “El Valle del Cocora”, a valley in Colombia where the tallest palm trees in the world grow.
We want Cocora to be the place where leaders come to achieve their potential. We don’t want leaders to aspire to be the best in Colombia, Mexico, or Latin America. We want them to aspire to be the best in the world because it is what they are capable of.
